Scholarships available. SPJ is offering five $100 travel scholarships to BBJ the first five applicants meeting the scholarship criteria. Those traveling more than 50 miles to attend BBJ and whose employers are unlikely to subsidize travel qualify for scholarships. To apply, please send a letter with a brief description of your situation to our local SPJ President Tamara Kent, assignment editor at KGW News Channel 8, and tell us the reason you would like to attend BBJ.
