The Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter of SPJ - in partnership with the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication, its student SPJ chapter and the Oregonian - hosted a two-day training in Eugene, offering a variety of training sessions and panel discussions for students and working professionals. Sessions included interviewing skills, investigations on a shoe-string budget, column writing and hands-on training for computer-assisted reporting.
